    • Arnold's Glossary of Anatomy – An extensive glossary, supplying all Latin roots for medical nomenclature, courtesy of the University of Sydney.
    • Learning Radiology A good introduction to radiology with commonly seen images.
    • Chest Radiology – A classic introduction to chest films, courtesy of Harvard Medical School.
    • Introductory Embryology An nice embryological walk-through, this page also contains multiple pertinent links, courtesy of Temple University.
    • Human Embryology Animations – This page contains excellent embryology animations of development, courtesy of Indiana University.

    • UW Heart Sounds A good heart sound website, courtesy of the University of Washington Department of Medicine
    • UCLA Heart Sounds This website is a thorough introduction to cardiopulmonary auscultation, courtesy of UCLA.

    • Virtual Histology – An excellent resource with many pictures of common knowledge. The numerous slides and explanations are quite helpful, courtesy of Loyola University Medical Education Network.
    • Histology World A comprehensive histology resource, using multiple modules for learning, quizzing, and explaining pathology. 
  • Microbiology
    • Medical Microbiology An A-Z index of medical micro, courtesy of the generous med students at Indiana University School of Medicine; a good secondary or tertiary resource.
    • Parasite Image Library – THE definitive parasite resource, thank you Centers for Disease Control.
    • Micro First Aid This site provides lots high-yield micro in a flashcard/quiz format, a good final check before exams.
    • USCSM Microbiology This site provides detailed slides and audio lectures, courtesy of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
  • Neurology
    • Neurological Exam An anatomical approach to the neurological exam, courtesy of faculty at the University of Nebraska and the University of Utah Schools of Medicine.
    • The Whole Brain Atlas A Harvard Medical School collaborative project. Excellent MRI/PET cross-sections in transverse, sagittal, and coronal planes, in diseased states as well as normal. This is an outstanding resource for neurological imaging by any standard.
    • UBC Neuroanatomy The neuroanatomy webpage at the University of British Columbia.
    • Spinal Cord Cross Sections An interactive atlas of stained cross sections from the lumbosacral junction to the lateral ventral nucleus of the thalamus.
    • Neurovascular Flashcards A flashcard list for neuroscience blood supply, provided by FlashcardExchange.com.
    • Neurovascular Textbook A comprehensive page on blood supply to the brain and spinal cord. The neuroscience textbook and glossary links throughout the page are expansive.

  • Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine
    • OMM Review – This site and its resources were created by Steven L. Simmons, DO. It gives a fast and easy review of OMM. (This is not endorsed or approved by NBOME, but the questions remain good practice.)
  • Pathology
    •  Path Guy An eclectic and interesting site, while not all links are medically relevant. The slides come straight out of Robbins pathology, a definitive source for most pathology. Many of the additional links are otherwise useful.
    • The Internet Pathology Laboratory for Medical Education A great secondary pathology resource courtesy of Mercer University School of Medicine and the University of Utah Eccles Health Sciences Library.
  • Pharmacology
    • All Med Mnemonics A good site for general medical mnemonics, particularly pharmacology.  Registration is required to use the site, but it is free and this resource is extensive.
  • Physiology
    • Physio Tutorials Several interactive tutorials that help illustrate teaching points throughout physiology, courtesy of the Lone Star College System.
    • Physio Resources An anatomy and physiology tutoring links page, courtesy of the University of Houston.
  • Psychiatry
    • Mental Health A general, encyclopedic website for psychiatric disorders and pertinent medications. A decent secondary or tertiary resource.
